The A12s are a significant part of the muscle car history. In back is the correct Dana 60 rear end with 4.10 sure grip gears. They installed a Centerforce dual friction clutch. There is a Lakewood scatter shield attached to the correct A-833 4-speed. Looking up at the motor it is clean, has a high torque starter. The exhaust has cross over pipe and correct tips. Fuel system was replaced including the tank, straps, lines etc. The brake system was restored, the e-brake is hooked up. This included bigger torsion bars, sway bar, hemi leaf springs and more. The A12s were treated to a heavy duty suspension: aka the police handling package. The chassis was entirely rebuilt and painted semi gloss black. It was then prepped and correctly painted with slop gray primer, red overspray from the body and a small amount of undercoat. The bottom of the car was sandblasted to bare metal. You can tell every grommet, nut and bolt was replaced or restored. The chassis and components were completely removed. UNDERSIDE: This car was on a rotisserie so the bottom could be restored like new. It is complete with a restored spare and jack assembly. The metal is all clean with a gloss red finish. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Detailed and complete. The vin on the core support matches the car, the original vin tag is attached. The engine bay is clean metal painted gloss red. Every thing looks proper- wires are run neatly, battery is secured, horns and squirters are hooked up. Detailed with correct plug wires, hoses, clamps, battery etc. The carbs are restored and working properly. On top is the correct Edelbrock intake and 3 Holley carbs. The best part is that Hurst shifter sticking out of the floor!ĮNGINE COMPARTMENT: The motor has been professionally rebuilt to the performance specs. There are new speakers in the factory locations. The factory radio has been rebuilt with an FM stereo conversion. The knobs, bezels, steering wheel, heater controls, glovebox are all mint. The gauges are all functional, even the clock. It has the optional Rallye gauges with tachometer. Headliner is mint without a single wrinkle, dome light works. Door panels, armrests, handles and cranks were replaced. It has complete set of factory red seat belts. The seat cushions feel firm, the upholstery fits tight and looks new. Down on the floor are bright red carpets with embroidered Super Bee mats. INTERIOR: Restored like new from carpet to headliner. Each one is wrapped in reproduction redline tires. These all came with 15 inch painted steel rims with chrome lug nuts. The grill, tail panel and lenses are mint. The weatherstrips and seals were all replaced. The stainless trim was straightened and polished. All the chrome looks like new- bumpers, vent window frames, handles etc. We have a new set of prop rods to display the hood lifted up. The finish is red glass! The light weight fiberglass lift off hood is in mint shape. The paint is about 20 years old and has proven itself. It was wet sanded with 1,000 and 2,000 grit paper in between each coat. It was given 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of color and 4 coats of clear. It was repainted it's original Bright Red color using premium Spies Hecker paint. Nice to see all of the pictures which does do the car justice.ĮXTERIOR: The body is laser straight, panels fit right.
